1. a term used for referring to groupings of family members that will never leave your house, but at the same time always have your back

2. a term used referring to family while making up an excuse to get out of certain situations. the term exerts emphasis when used correctly in context

FAMBE

An acronym for "Friendly and Mutual Bonding Experience." It can be any datelike activity without the implications of a date. For example, going to a movie or going out to dinner with a friend of the opposite sex who is not your boyfriend or girlfriend. It is pronounced "Fambay"

We're just friends and not dating, so we're just going on a FAMBE.
