One of the nicest places in Pennsylvania. Home of Dorney Park and some of the friendliest people. Murder Rate was low in 2005, only 11 people. That's below average for a big state like that. There is people who can leave their keys in their car while its running and nothing will happen. I know this because i go there every weekend to get out of the hood. That's maybe the reason while the murder rate was 11 and not a lower number because alot of people go to Allentown to get out of the slums and move to a better place to change their life. Too many people cluddered in one place from alot of different hoods is going to eventually fight because it's the way they grew up. Learning to mean mug and grill others and it'll be a fight from there.
Allentown is such a great city to live in and do not believe any of the gossip that goes around saying that its bad with alot of black people roaming around with crack heads because Allentown's government won't allow anyone to roam around homeless and it's more white people in the city than any other race.
