Performance ADHD describes a phenomenon that occurs when a person with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) begins to perform at their true mental capacity after receiving proper treatment. This transformation can be quite remarkable and often surprising to both the individual and those around them. It is often hard to tell it apart from a panic induced manic state without context.
p1: "What's going on with Jacob? He seems to glow all of a sudden, are you sure he ain't suicidal?"
p2: "Nah dude, he's been in therapy and got the treament he needed, what you are seeing is adhd-p"
