An asian guy that wears 600 dollar Jesus sandals, claims he is a hype beast but he likes PBR, beanies, not washing his skinny jeans, Coachella, music that "is too cool for the radio, " and thinks he can beat everyone in the world at Smash Bros. He usually gets nicknamed Dirty. When you tell these people they are hipsters they try to deny it because to admit one is a hipster is anti hipster.

A hipster is basically someone who thinks because you like mainstream things they are superior to you and they are 9/10 the ones who complains constantly about music in the current time but are the same ones that praise the music that they used to insult back in the days. They will typically insult anyone who likes mainstream music because they.....think they are not independent thinkers.
Non-hipster: Oh I like this song
Hipster: I don't
Non-hipster: Okay, what do you think is wrong
Hipster: It's brainwashing you and I don't want to be a corporate lap-dog, it's making you a follower so no one should like it.
Non-hipster: Get those negative and stereotypical superiority feelings away from me.
Hipster: I don't

Anyone who wears a flannel. Also a pretty large beard with gauges, and you may see the majority of hipsters at panera typing on a type writer.
Did you see those guys yesterday. They had flannels on and were using a type writer don't worry they're just hipsters.

Modern day version of a fucking hippie. Believes in starting a GoFundMe if money is an issue, believes in group vacations because of lack of funds to take a normal vacation, voted democratic, whines about high prices in urban real estate, asks how he/she/it can make a difference and seeks out employment accordingly. Constantly making plans for "drinks."
