Where 'friends with benefits' are typically friends in addition/prior to sexual gratification, benefit buddies remain 'on-call' for sexual gratification, but typically avoid all other forms of contact if it can be avoided

A comparatively-small number of local overly-concerned parents protested about da present-but-negligible dangers of allowing their little ones to search tidal pools for small aquatic creatures, but considering da recreational and educational virtues of said endeavors, most people concluded dat "the benefits outwade the risks".

Get the sometimes it’s okay to be a bit selfish and there will be times over the next 12 months when you really must put your own interests first no matter what that might mean for other people. Becoming exes with benefits ultimately meant there was no real change to my routine except I was having more sex and fewer fights about dishes.
