Snatch Alley

Name of a 4-piece rock band from South Weymouth, Massachusetts that played local area school dances and won a "Battle of the Bands" in Hingham, MA. This is 1971-1973 timeframe. The band name comes from a place in West Dennis on Cape Cod where most of the band members hung out during the summer: "Snatch Alley". (Generally speaking, Old Wharf Road at Glendon Road Beach. See "The Snatch Alley" for a more detailed description of the place.)

Six bands competed to win the Battle of the Bands, but after Snatch Alley finished their set, the judges just threw the trophy at them!

Ten Pin Alley

a delightful sega game concerning bowling with the zany antics of the Animaniacs. It has really good graphics, 10 playable players (including the goodfeathers), and it makes fun of Pinky & tha Brain.

My Brother says we never rented Ten Pin Alley. I think he's lying to himself.

rats' alley

Though commonly misconceived as the anal canal through which gerbils at times migrate, a la Richard Gere (that region is better termed "gerbils' boulevard of broken dreams"), rats' alley is a horse of another color. any residential area populated by gratuitous amounts of promiscuous women. A good indicator that you are unknowingly in whisper alley is women of the night lurking in the cut. Also known as glass houses or soapies in the far east.

"Man, barracks FC-371 (Camp Lejeune) 1st deck backside, is such a whisper alley."

Boster: "Yo, Perry, you better stay away from whisper alley, you keep fuckin with those skeezas-you're gonna catch something."
