H. G. Wells

(1866-1946) British writer best known for his science fiction novels, such as "The Time Machine", "The Invisible Man", and "The War of the Worlds". The latter book inspired two movie renditions (1953, 2005), and Orson Welles' famed 1938 radio broadcast, which panicked many listeners, who thought they were listening to news reports of an actual Martian invasion of New Jersey. Wells, who studied with the great British biologist T.H. Huxley, was also an accomplished popularizer of science.

In "The War of the Worlds", H.G. Wells foresaw many of the horrors and technologies of the First World War, such as poison gas, flamethrowers, and armored vehicles.

Noun.

A self-styled "hardcore gamer" who proliferates the excesses of gaming culture, including its issues of elitism and bigotry against marginalized groups, and who stands opposed to the normalization of video games for a mass-market audience.

Although Gamergate has provided a unifying ideal for them, and has amplified their presence on the internet, Capital-G Gamers have existed since Nintendo Entertainment Systems were found in the boys' toy aisle, in the form of webcomic authors, arcade bullies, and internet forum posters who reject efforts to cater to the female playerbase--among countless other forms.

Real Muthaphuckkin G's

A rap song made by Californian rapper Eazy-E that was released in August 1993. The song was a response to fellow rapper and former friend and colleague Dr. Dre's "Fuck Wit Dre Day" which slandered Eazy. The song features Gangsta Dresta and BG Knocc Out. The song also attacks Snoop Dogg, who Dre made songs with, and Death Row Records, owned by Suge Knight, who Dre struck a deal with.

Eazy mentions the famous event in which Dr. Dre assaulted TV personality Dee Barnes along with calling Dre and Snoop "studio gangstas". He finishes with calling Death Row "Dre's boot camp".
