The chaotic, mildly embarrassing scenario of losing your friends in a crowded place and having no clue where they are. Usually involves you looking around like a deer in headlights, checking your phone obsessively, and possibly asking strangers if they've seen anyone matching vague descriptions of your group.

(Origin: Combines “scowl” (since you're annoyed) and “bungle” (since you’re making a mess of finding your friends).)
