When one works in a fast food restaurant and utters the phrase, "Check the rice," it's code for a slammin' hot bitch at either the front counter or the drive through. The restaurant does not need to serve rice dishes for this saying to apply.

Will: "Hey Alex, check the rice!"
Alex: "Holy shit she's hot!"

cheat check

A very difficult, if not impossible, question often put on science and engineering tests to determine who is working with others and/or using Chegg, Symbolab, or other "help" websites. Works best on take-home exams. The OG move is for the professor to enlist a teaching assistant to post a convincing yet fake answer on one of these types of sites. Sometimes also referred to as "Chegg bait".

Billy: "How'd you do question number 3 on the differential equations exam?"
Bob: "I just used Symbolab."
Billy: "Damn, you just failed the cheat check! That integral is not solvable by methods we've learned."

Revving the engine of a vehicle until the redline as a test to make sure everything holds together when running.

Driver 1: Have you been Rod Checking your motor?
Driver 2: If those rods stay in the motor they passed the check, if they come out the oil pan... well you know...
Driver 1: At least you're Rod Checking it. Better now than on the track.
