This is intended to be a Christmas gift rather than akcually being used as a functional tool, as kids are prone to asking for smartphone to Santa during Christmas even though they're still too young for smartphone.

Instead of a real phone, I got my little brother a Once Upon A Smartphone for Christmas—now he can pretend to text and play games without the screen time worries!
