Ratchet

1. Someone, usually female, that acts ghetto, loud, obnoxious, trashy, very ugly, and can be promiscuous.

2. This term may be used in a way that shows jealousy. For example, a normal person that doesn't act ghetto or trashy or ratchet may be called those things because they act normal and better.

Either way, a ratchet person tries to start unnecessary drama for the world to know.

1. Shaniqua: "Hey nigga, watchu doin tonight?
Lakeisha: "I ain't fisina do nothin. How bout you mind yo own bizness 'fo I knock the shit out chu?!"
