The S is calling

The s refers oftem to a spliff, to where the term S comes from but may also be a joint or blunt. You will often hear university students say the S or S is calling in the evening, this refers to the high calling to them after a long day and it used to discreetly leave a room and inform people of a sesh. This is often used to hide the motives from a larger group or from non smokers and is primarily used in Ottawa but is also gaining popularity in other parts of Ontario specifically Peel region as well as Hamilton, Kingstown & Saint Catherine

"I gotta take this call, I'll be back."
"Is the S calling?"
"Yes."

"Guys I thinks the S is calling."
"Ahhh shit, I knew it"

"What's up with him?"
"I think the S called."

St. Peter’s calling my name

An admission that one is going to die soon, usually from a terminal illness or dangerous situation.

A reference to the Christian angel St. Peter, who guards the Gates of Heaven and determines whether one goes to Heaven or Hell. St. Peter calling your name would imply that it is your turn to be judged, which means you must be dead. Thus, admitting that he is “calling your name” makes it seem that a nearing death is inevitable.

Thanks for being the greatest mother ever. I would love to tell you in person, but it seems that St. Peter’s calling my name. I wish this could’ve happened differently, but there’s nothing we can do about it now.

Something a person/people in a relationship do that is so unironically adorable and romantic that it’s almost like they’re calling you out for being a single loser in multiple different ways without ever directly addressing you.

Person 1: “I saw this couple walking down the sidewalk last night and the guy gave his girlfriend his jacket to put over her head so she wouldn’t get wet when it started to rain.”

Call of the colonel

When you’re driving around the suburbs during the mid afternoon and the elegant aroma of Kentucky Fried Chicken wafts through the window. You start to salivate, your eyes bulge, you must have that greasy chicken. You gun it to the nearest drive through, fulfil the transaction with the pizza face teenager.
