the prolonged after-effects of watching this romance movie 'The Notebook'.

Symptoms inlcude:

Feeling mushy and sappy

Believing that, men are romantic and compassionate and will give their lives for their women. Men do not posses these abilities or thoughts. They are not thinking about you and your feelings constantly.

Longing and looking for an ever-loving, deovted guy like the Notebook's lover dude 'Noah', that would barely or rarely exist, and staying miserably heart-broken over not finding such kind!

Girl (sobbingly) : Will you love me like the guy in Notebook?

Unattractive girl syndrome 

A girl who is not attractive, or does not feel attractive, who constantly has to reaffirm her sex appeal or attractiveness by objectifying herself, whether that be performing, or speaking about sexual acts, dressing very provocatively, flashing etc. Then by gaining male sexual attention she reaffirms her attractiveness, or 'sexiness', and temporarily feels desired.

She may also engage in sexual discussions or competitions with her female 'friends', where they compete to see who is found more 'desirable' by who has had more sexual encounters etc

Peggy Hill Syndrome 

A common syndrom of women and even some men that makes the subject feel infallible and that anything that they say or do is perfect in every way. Named for "Peggy Hill" of the FOX show "King of the Hill" who belives she is a genious and has never made a mistake and refuses to admit defeat in spite of being proved wrong. Symptomes include: obsessive cleaning, argumentation, constant additions of new house or family rules, the constant need to have the last word and the inability to mind ones own buisness, as well as other syndromes fitting to this line of attitude.

One who suffers from Peggy Hill Syndrome often will demand explinations of ones wherabouts and actions of the day, then begin to critisize the logic and reasoning behind the edcisions made during the day, leading into a long night of arguments, all of which are one sided. The syndrom is not the fault of the victom, more than it is of an overly strict upbrining and/or abusive youth.

Lavender Town Syndrome 

An effect of listening to the original version of Lavander Town's music in Pokemon Red and Blue. The original song contained higher freqencies in sound that were only audible to children and teenagers. This resulted in severe illnesses and a spike in young suicides in Japan. Hidden messages were found in some versions of the song.

I couldent get that damn song out of my head... it felt like it was slowly killing me from the inside. I was hanging from the rafters, a belt around my neck before it became clear that I had.... Lavender Town Syndrome. I fear though, you may be next.

1. A person with slut syndrome often feels unloved, invaluable or undesired. They perform sexual acts with various persons to prove their self-worth or to feel desired and loved.

A person with slut syndrome will often show signs of becoming a full slut, symptoms including but not limited to:

- Needing a boyfriend or spouse to feel loved
- Needing sexual intercourse or other acts of sexual gratification from their boyfriend or spouse, or from someone outside of their current relationship, or a combination of the two, to feel loved and desired.
- Being promiscuous
- Cheating, lying, or betraying a current partner to engage in sexual activites with other persons of the opposite or same sex.

2. An affliction that turns otherwise normal people into sluts, whores, or prostitutes.

"Jenny's not too hot but I hear she's got slut syndrome, so she'll probably do it with me even though she's with Bob."

Artemis Syndrome

Benign Artemis Syndrome: An mild occurrence in the first few months of being in the Artemis Faculty, where slight disappointment and resentment are present as common symptoms and the subject retains much of his "eyesight". Complete recovery possible by lucking into a "plentiful" CCA.

Malignant Artemis Syndrome: Subject experiences regret and envy, this stage is indicated by a markedly quick rate of deterioration in "eyesight". Sociologists recommend social rehabilitation, preferably in other countries of ample opportunity, sustenance through "porno mags" is inadvisable and may result in worsening emotions at the trade-off of keeping "eyesight" healthy.

Final Stage Artemis Syndrome: Subject accepts the "Artemis Faculty" and embraces what may become his death. Others may take the easy way out and commit suicide. There is no known cure for Final Stage AS.

lost puppy syndrome 

When one who is in a relationship finds themselves constantly looking around for their significant other at seemingly random times in hopes the other will randomly appear.

Also used when texting, where there is a lull in the conversation and you finds yourself staring at your phone or checking it often to see if a new text has arrived that you somehow missed in the 3 seconds since you last checked.

Can be abbreviated LPS

Bob: What is Steve looking around for?
Charlie: He's hoping that Susan will show up any minute
Bob: Isn't she in Georgia?
Charlie: Yeah but he's got lost puppy syndrome... he can't help but looking around
