A cure for
da childhood illness of taedium acutum (that's Latin --- look it up) caused by
da immensely-insipid lifestyle/habits of perpetually-dull
parents, and dat da "indignant 'n' indulgent" sister of one of said "adullts" administers doses of to their excitement-deprived youngsters whenever she came to visit.
Traditional "auntibiotics" --- i.
e., pocket-money, toys, sweets, etc. --- may indeed be delightful, but oftentimes it also creates friction and additional dissatisfaction in the
children, who then whimperingly compare
da just-providing-
da-basics way dat Mommy and Daddy treat them to how their also-disapproving-of-minimalist-living parent's-sister figure behaves. But let's not solely blame said fawning
female for said kiddie-discontentment, either... perhaps more moderation on "both sides would be
da equation" would actually be in order --- i.e., it might indeed be healthier if said second lady-adult would provide mostly non-monetary pleasures like take the kids for a walk on the beach or sit and read to them, but said
children's
parents should themselves "lighten up" in their raising of their youngsters, such as providing them with a more varied diet, buying them a few nice things themselves, and doing more fun/interesting activities with them, so that they could have happier lives all on their own and all the time, not just when Aunt Susie comes to visit.
