Get the Junk in the Trunkmug. To slam a trunk shut in an inappropriately firm fashion in order to demonstrate one's disgust surrounding their poor performance on the golf course that particular day. Trunk slamming most often occurs when (A) a player has missed a cut and is rushing to catch a flight home, or (B) When he/she played well below their potential and are in a hurry to get to the bar.
Mark was yelling fore-left all afternoon and lipped a 3-footer for triple on 18, so now he's out in the parking lot trunk slamming the afternoon away until happy hour starts at the airport.

Get the tree trunksmug. stuff that has been rolling around in the trunk of your vehicle for months that you haven't bothered to clean up out of pure laziness. Usually found in old, beater cars that lack any aesthetic nature anyway.
I got fast food wrappers, bottles of motor oil and other random lubricants, an old pair of shoes, some rusted jumper cables, that VCR I was supposed to give back to my sister, empty beer cases and various other items that should really be thrown out. I need to get rid of some of my junk in the trunk.
