A kid. Esp. male. Used with kids you don't know, or as affection or to distinguish kid from older family or adult in the social group who have the same name or nickname.

Also used as "shortie", "lil shortie". Plural "shorties" - i.e. the kids..

"Hey shortie, where's your dad?" "We're gonna get a bounce tent for the shorties".

2. Of very poor quality, highly inferior.

3. Insignificant.

4. Being in a poor state or miserable situation.

5. Used to replace the word shitty there for not so vulgar.

Shooty Hoops

The sport of throwing/tossing paper balls, cheetos, or any small object into the hood of somebody's hoody.

It is nearly played exactly like basketball, just without the need to dribble. Slam Dunks are illegal. However, that just makes them the more fun to do.

"Dude, we just had the most extreme game of Shooty Hoops during homeroom!"
