Buzzin Dozen

A common nickname for Detroit Diesel 12 cylinder diesel engines.

My uncles 1980 Peterbilt 359 truck has a 12 cylinder Detroit Diesel 12-V-71 engine, this truck can be heard before being seen while drivin down the road. Due to the engine sound and the engine being a 12 cylinder, that's how a 12 cylinder Detroit Diesel got the nickname Buzzin Dozen.
