it's kind of self explanatory, but almost bestie is someone who is not quite your best friend but is nearly.
It is also a ironic expression for bagging your best friend by sayin that they are only your "almost bestie".

claire: "helen, fuck off, you are only ,my almost bestie!!!"

A word that means best friends. Is usually said by teenage girls who are insecure about themselves and therefore calls everyone they come in contact with a "besty." She will generally comment "besties," on every picture of herself with someone else tagged on facebook.

The word is pronounced "best-ees". It rhymes with testies.

Jill: Hi.
Insecure girl: Hi!!!
Insecure girl's friend: Who was that?
Insecure girl: Oh that was Jill, we're besties.

Bestie

A variation of the words, 'best friends,' or 'best friends forever.' Commonly used between two BFFs once the name 'Bff' becomes over-used and old, however, Bestie will never become more popular than Bff because BFF will always remain the original, and true name for Best Friends.
