On the surface it's a cute happy face, but like a contented happy moreso than a joyful one. That it can be read as the sort of noise that compliments the facial expression just doubles down making it an almost saccharine emotion.

But it's connotation is one mixed with sarcasm as its overuse led to a shift in tone melding with the original intent.
