Starting from scratch, origin from baking as to start from raw ingredients. Most often used in the context of pizzas and software.

The resident expert was out so I used first principles to understand why the website was down. I had to look at the code to do so.

First batch

The first batch of children from one couple (I.e. they had 2 children one year a part than took a break and had another 2...). also known as practice batch, these children normally have a lot of issues. And to some are treated like second class.

Second batch son: mom, why are the older kids so different? Mom: oh, their just first batch’s.

The first dimension is a dimension with only width, thus making height their point of describing time. The first dimension would only be a very long infinitely thin line that goes on forever... That is pretty much all you can say about it!😅

Would a simple string just describe the whole first dimension?

A common phrase coming from the expression that goes “The first pancake never turns out right, the second one is perfect, and the third needs some shaping.

Person 1: My daughters a bit odd.

Person 2: She’s a first pancake, your son is great though!
