A fixation on something, be it winning, or tarot cards/fortune telling, or spirituality/mythology/religion.

She was the female Jim Jones (a seemingly outgoing, charismatic, even fun/exciting person to some despite her true introverted nature) , she liked dead things and Jesus, at least she talked about those subjects frequently enough that people would think she did.
