Get the Puntmug. A software project management term. "Punt Time" is defined as the total time spent across the team in not doing the work. For example, if a developer opens up the issue, reads it, talks to a few people about it, and then decides to work on something else instead, the time spent doing these activities adds to the Punt Time for the issue.
The Punt Time of that bug got so damn large that I decided to just fix the bug so that I can stop attending meetings about it.

Get the Puntmug. Taken from the sport of football, punting is a passive-aggressive way of delaying an action or an inevitable result. When someone punts, it's usually because they are faced with an uncomfortable situation where they are afraid to give a clear answer, response, or explanation to avoid judgment, ridicule, or scorn.
"I asked Tony if he wanted to hang out, shoot some pool and get a couple of brews. Instead of telling me directly that he really didn't want to go, he punted, saying he needed to ask his wife first.
