Emo

"Emo" Is just a genre of music, although people use it as a label. Just to let you guys know.. You can't really be emo... i think the style you are looking for is "scene". Emo music includes bands like 'Hawthorne Heights' or even 'Portraits of the past'. If you call youself "Emo" You are probably a poser, sorry. And never confuse "Emo" with "Punk" or "Goth" please.

emo hair

Otherwise known as a scene haircut...you can usually find people with this cut lurking on Myspace. They typically style their hair with the bangs to the side and covering one eye...often the bangs are dyed abnormal colors as well. They are the same people who take pictures of themselves from the top, or just looking over the shoulder in an attempt at looking dramatic/contemplative/sad/emo. Usually the people who have "emo hair" are scene kids. Kind of like emo wannabees, except they get mad if you say that.

Did you see the picture of that guy on Myspace? He definately has emo hair - it's shaggy and you can't even see his eyes because his bangs are so long.

a kid who listens to emotion laced music. often times, suicidial, but other timesnot. Boys are usually charachterized by their unkemp jet black hair and tight girls pants and very skinny body. Girls are usually charachterized by, well, the same things. emo kids, however, can look pretty much any way.

an emo kid is some one who wears a studded belt, tight t-shirts, tight cardigans and tight upturned jeans and sometimes trucker caps and usually square black rimmed glasses. the have an emotional outlook on life and listen to the genre of emo. this can include taking back sunday, dashboard confessional and the early november. aslo they carry a messenger bag. and have chucks to. music or the arts is there pasion in their life.

emo flip

the Emo flip is when someone usually someone with longer hair has it in there eyes and flips it to the side... it depends on what side the hair is at, for then they can flip it that way
