To be a grit, you're a massive jack ass or a whore. You have to be a real big ass hole in order to become a grit. If you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, and hang out with other guys/girl, you're a grit. AKA, a slut or a whore

She has two boyfriends and a fuck buddy, she's such a grit.

She stole my hard work and threw it away, such a grit!

An inherent, positive non-cognitive (meaning mostly unaware) personality trait that enables perseverance through otherwise difficult or impossible obstacles over a long period of time without the loss of passion and is the resolve that requires courage to mold strength of character as a driving force to successful and often self fulfillment. It is often combined with the definition of resilience.

Eminem has grit. So does an organization in the Philippines called blackwing.

Adams County Grits ALA Gary

The act of picking a stalk of sweet corn, shucking the individual ears, leaving them on the stalk, and inserting the ears into multiple asses. While inserted, the low inserted ear controls the tempo, as not to break an ear off in a participant's ass.

We drank a bunch of Miller High Life, grabbed some fresh sweet corn, and pulled of an Adams County Grits ala Gary. Joe was low man and Jerry got an ear of corn stuck in his ass.
