Fact Shaming

Shaming someone because they don’t know a fact that you know. Making them feel stupid and less superior than you. This can also apply to people who shame you for not knowing how to pronounce certain words.
Fact shaming: “Don’t you know who Putin is? Everyone knows who he is, you are so stupid Brad! “

An Amber Fact

A fact that is, in fact, completely fucking made up bullshit but delivered with such conviction as to make it appear real and avoid challenge within a friendly conversation.
I was surprised that the Vietnamese stripper had such an in-depth knowledge of the transport system in London; "Everyone knows that..." she stated. I considered it was probably an Amber Fact, let her feel important and then jizzed in her eye.
