A person who is not just a badass, but a class A badass. There are levels of bad assery, a through c, with a being the biggest badass and c barely being a badass.

James Bond is a Class A Badass, while Danny Bonaduce is only a Class C Badass.

American Badass

Noun) Someone who is such a badass to the extent of not caring for their surroundings and present audience. They are known to swear profusely regardless of their company and do health-risking things such as smoke just to look cool. An American Badass does not necessarily have to be American. This can be used to compliment someone in the highest regards by simply calling them an American Badass.

The wardrobe of an American Badass typically consists of a headband/bandanna of some sort. A sleeveless denim jacket that they may have ripped the sleeves off during a bar-fight. Leather pants acquired from killing a man. Fingerless gloves that expose the fingers so that one can properly give the finger in. The boots of an American Badass are always made from the finest cowhide/leather.

Sonny: Yeah, fuck that bitch.
Brandon: What an American Badass!

Amy: You guys were horrible at the renaissance rally.

Billy Badass 

A term given to a person (typically a male) who acts or does something in a "hard-ass", asshole, and/or tough-guy manner. The Billy Badass themselves, of course, do not think they are a "Billy Badass"; the term is usually told to, or directed at, someone in order to poke fun at, or to express contempt for, their prior, recent, or planned excessive or flamboyant actions.

EX1:
Guy 1: "If this cop gives me any shit, I'm gonna smash his face in".

Guy 2: "Yeah, whatever...Billy Badass".


EX2:
A little Punk teenager comes strutting into a store like he owns the place.

Store Clerk: "Check out this Billy Badass".
