the feminine edge includes certain characteristics of a heterosexual male that could be described as feminine such as excellent hygiene, use of body products, the ability to create coordinated outfits, etc., that give said male an edge in his ability to appeal to women while retaining his masculinity. The feminine edge distinguishes itself from metrosexuality in that it does not go as far in its femininity and does not embody narcissistic assumptions.
John: Did you seriously get a pedicure?!
Steve: Yeah I got a color called steel...it's all about the feminine edge.

The edge city as Garreau describes it is fundamentally impossible without the automobile. It was not until automobile ownership surged in the 1950s, after four decades of fast steady growth, that the edge city became truly possible. Whereas virtually every American central business district (CBD) or secondary downtown that developed around non-motorized transportation or the streetcar has a pedestrian-friendly grid pattern of relatively narrow streets, most edge cities instead have a hierarchical street arrangement centered around pedestrian-hostile arterial roads.

Get the Edge Citymug. by da booze man August 13, 2006
Get the the razors edgemug. Straight Edge is a personal choice that is not meant to be a joking matter. It is an oath that someone may make to themselves to not participate in recreational drug use, smoke, consume alcohol, or have promiscious sex. I think a true straight edge does it for themselves and doesn't ridicule others for not believing in the same view of this lifestyle.
