Ironically, individuals with lord anthony syndrome often find themselves trampled upon in life, seldom achieving any great social, financial, or authoritative status due to their social ineptitude.

The syndrome is particularly popular among computer nerds and members of sub-cultures, usually gothics, although they do not compose such groups entirely.
