In pursuit of obtaining a larger quantity of the traditional dozen (12), in the same fashion that you would order a bakers dozen (13), the J's dozen (24) came about at bakeries and coffee shops in Colorado and NY.

2: Used as a term to describe a group of awkward people with something in common.
