An addict who perpetually consumes dull content in video games and movies. They climb aboard the hype train each year and are thrilled to receive the half-baked, steaming pile of dog shit products they were misled to buy. They develop amnesia so they can continue to cope with the copy and paste mechanics, repetitive side missions, and terrible storylines that have been re-hashed to them over and over again. A good story means nothing to them, all they want is mind-numbing special effects and action sequences. They do not consume because they want to, they consume because they need to.
The saying “wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle,” is a concept that is very alien to them.
Not to be confused with a normie because this individual is an addict.

“Dude, did you see the new Far Cry trailer? Holy shit it looks so good! This year is stacked! We’re gonna get Madden 22, COD Vanguard, Battlefield 2042, and a new Assassin’s Creed!"
"No, I'm not remotely interested in games made for content junkies."

When you are writing, drawing, or otherwise creating content with the assumption that it's 100% original, only to later realize or find out that you were copying previously made content
I realized I was suffering from content amnesia when I got halfway through writing my story, only to realize I was writing The Matrix

Something, like a glossy presentation, that doesn't actually communicate anything of substance and tends instead to be composed of bland statements with have no real meaning.
I didn't learn anything new from that talk. It seemed to be entirely 'content free', just full of meaningless statements most likely written by consultants
