OC

OC or OoC is not from this millennia. It has been used in many fields for many decades in particular engineering-related circles. I came across it in the 1950s when working in the Electricity generation field. it means "Out of Commission" as in not working. Applied to machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and many other systems or pieces of equipment, large or small. It does not mean “original content” and “original character.” Those are newbie definitions.

The pump is OC, it failed yesterday. My truck is OC, it needs a new motor.

The bad part of orange county, ca. It is known for absurdly high crime rates and poverty. It's full of ignorant snobs who treat others like shit. The people have little to no empathy for others. They lack personality. The cities are boring and dull af. The most dreadful part of OC. Don't say you haven't been warned.

OCS

When spoken pronounced "oh-cheese". OCS stands for Only Child Syndrome. People with OCS are often only looking out for themselves. They disregard other people's plans, feelings, and ideas in favor of their own, and often change their minds, even after making "definite" plans. They're usually indecisive, as well as bipolar when it comes to relationships.

Person 1: "Hey, do you want to come to my house? We can get a ride."

OCS Sufferer: "No, I don't know, I want to be in NATURE right now.."

P1: "Um well....we could hang outside..."

OCS: "No no NO!...I don't know...I'm gonna go...maybe I'll come to your house later..."

P1: "But...we have a ride now!"

OCS: "Well I don't know what I want to do!!! I don't have allergies, so I'M ok here! Ugh!!!
