Talking from experience 

When a person attempts to insult another person, however the insult actually pertains to the person insulting, they are talking from experience. More specifically this is calling psychological projection, however a more loose yet fitting phrase would be "talking from experience".

Some wannabe cyberbullies were acting hard and calling people gay, but we all knew they were just talking from experience.

Talking out of your ass, also commonly known as verbal diarrhoea. Is typically performed by closed minded idiots who like to state their opinion on a topic, having no prior information or evidence before discussion.

Grandparent: "Downloading and printing are the same thing!"

Grandchild: "No they are not, you don't even use the internet. You are talking out of your ass, stop living in a 1960's dream world".

A method of seduction by which Adam Powell will single out an attractive lady, discuss Philosophy with her until everyone falls asleep, and then fornicate with her. The term 'talking philosophy' is then substituted for the actual act of intercourse.
