For use in marijuana terms , to hold a joint so long it extinguishes itself.

Also used to call a person a brindle , the annoying person that hot boxes the joint or holds it so long it goes out

When you drink so much you're plastered ... the drink brindled you .

As a name , it's become more popular in the last few years ,and is also gender neutral, but with all the meanings of it I wouldn't recommend naming your child this .BUT if you do I still think it's a cute name. ... just has some negativity behind it /associated with it .... but hey who knows your child could be the one to give the name some positivity around it and that would be cool !
