the romanticised, nostalgic and fanticised way people look at past civilisations (living or dead), without taking into account the hardships, shortcomings, small mindedness, and general crappiness those ways of living or societies generally contained. see; 1940's/50's America, Hunter gatherer tribes, Ancient Rome, Ancient Norse, Medieval Europe, Victorian England, ect.

people commonly rofanticise 1940's and 1950's American society forgetting segregation, sexism and war.

"Pirates of the Caribbean" is a film that has rofanticised the golden age of piracy.

Steam Punk is a great example of how rofanticising can influence culture.

The definition of the sweetest, caring and most beautiful girl in the world. A Roana puts everyone else's needs above anything else, often forgetting she has those as well. She puts up with way too much though, allowing herself to be guilt-tripped. However, if you go too far she'll stand up for herself and protect those she cares about. Ockham's Rogaine

Ockham's Rogaine is a way of calling "foul" on a complex, fantastical claim about almost anything. It is the opposite of Ockham’s razor, William of Ockham's classic formula. Ockham’s razor says that among competing explanations, we should prefer the simplest one. A razor cuts away excess "hair" and simplifies loopy reasoning. Rogaine, figuratively, grows it and creates a long, unruly line of thinking.

That guy at the bus station must have poured on a lot of Ockham's Rogaine to get an alien abduction, Pope Francis and the Czech lottery, all in the same conspiracy.
