Linkin park.

A really hybrid and brilliant Alternative-metal band who are expanding the boundaries of rock and metal alike.tHEY ARE ONE OF THE ONLY non-explicit metal band (that is on their albums) and they are somehow discredited for that (WHY THE HELL??DO YOU IDIOTS THINK THAT SWEARING IS MATURE?) People tend to misunderstand them,the guitar riffs are heavy.Play them on Karaoke and you'd see.The isnger screams like all of new metal and there is a touch of rapcore wit mike in it.And PLEASE dont deny they are atleast Alt-Metal.I can give you SOLID proof that they are.Please open real player,play a linkin-park song and check out the classification and the truthful description give.Go On,You'd get it.And another thing,LISTEN to each song atleast twice,any hybrid band takes time to get used to.Yet I do hope they get started on their new album now.

Linkin Park have realeased two good albums :- Meteora and Hybrid theory.

Linkin Park

Since I've seen that the last person who tried to write a Linkin Park article without adding their opinions did exactly the opposite, I'll take the liberty of doing it properly.

Linkin Park, previously known as Xero and Hybrid Theory, are an Alternative Metal band from Southern California, consisting of vocalist Chester Bennington, Drummer Rob Bourdon, Guitar player Brad Delson, Bass player Dave Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn, and rapper Mike Shinoda. They have released three studio albums, all of which sold very well, with the possible exception of their latest release, Minutes to Midnight. Most of their popular singles came from the previous two albums, Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Their lyrics often follow a theme concerning teen angst or a feeling of alienation, occasionally touching on relationship troubles. They have been known to add samples and scratching to many of their songs.

Linkin Park

Linkin Park is amazing. I don't care what 'new' stuff they did, I love each and every song. I don't care who you are, I'll always think they're amazing. Their best song is... oh wait, I forgot, every song is AMAZING. They make great music, some genres are:
Nu-metal
Alternative metal
Rap rock
Alternative rock.

Idiot: Linkin Park sucks.
Me: Go listen to Wiz Khalifa faggot. Linkin Park is real music with alternative metal and rock with rap and nu metal!!!

Linkin Park fan

Someone that likes Linkin Park. I will admit that they have poorly written lyrics, but they layer their music well. If you listen to just the bass lines, or just the guitar parts, etc., then you will see how hard it is to accomplish. I know alot about music and I like alot of great bands. These guys in LP may not be classics or change the way rock is done, but they were a new idea and great at the time. So stop hatin on people just because they don't have the same taste as you. PLUS, most of you haters are just people that don't know jack shit about music.

Linkin Park is aight.

Linkin Park Is An Awsome Band. Don't Deny It! 2 vocals, 2 guitarist, 1 DJ, 1 bassist, And 1 keybord. They are awsome nerds letting out all their pain from high school and life. With 2 albums out and 1 being the best selling of 2001.You can't beet that!

Linkin Park

A rock band that does more than rock. They have released 4 studio albums and have been around since 2000. Their songs are invarriably emotional in at least one way and always at least a bit angsty or angry. If you are having a hard time, put in a Linkin Park album and listen to it alone for a couple hours.

Linkin Park is a great band compared to the average garbage. I won't call them the best because I can't possible judge for everyone. Anyway, their work began in 2000 with Hybrid Theory- a great peice of Nu-metal. Their second album was Meteora, which was in a more "emo" direction. Their third album, 2007's Minutes to Midnight was a radical departure from their earlier Nu-metal sound. The album was much more melodic, but contained their first F-bombs. They were also more political and hte album featured a mix between the downcast and fiery songs. Their fourth album, 2010's A Thousand Suns is an odd album. It is apocalyptic and very melodic in a downcast way. It is the logical continuation of Minutes to Midnight and is the most artistic. It plays more like one long song.
