Get the The hell, you say!mug. Hell is not a curse word, it is a place. Satan leads you to believe that it is a curse word. (Now kids that doesn't mean go around and use it, that'll get you a pop on the mouth). Just like Damn, if you tell someone "Go to hell" your cursing them not cursing at them cursing the person to hell, your sentencing them to damnation. If someone tells you "hell" is a curse word tell them, "No it is not, it's an ACTUAL curse word. Meaning if you say "Go to Hell" your sentencing them to damnation.
