A recovery period where gay men who enjoy being fisted take a month off to heal. This period of time is needed to recover from damage that has accumulated over the prior year, including to organs, membranes, sphincters, and other tissue.

Bob didn't know if he would make it to Fist-free February because by New Year's Day his rectal prolapse already protruded almost 6 inches from his anus and required frequent moisturizing spray.
