Phenomenon of someone afraid of losing a match claiming next point decides the winner despite rules. Usually followed up by gratuitous smack talk.

A: Scores point to tie the game in overtime

proximity effect

When you ask for help with your malfunctioning software, it will mysteriously start working only when the person you asked gets within 5 feet of the computer.

I tried printing this godamn pdf for over an hour. But only after IT came into my cube did it start working. Of course IT thought it was an I.D.10.T error, but it was proximity effect making me look gaytarded.

An example would be looking at a video from 6 months ago, and then having a video from a few days ago look identical. The name was given "the Leafyishere effect" for he was one of the first to start the cancerous trend of having the same content format for nearly all of their videos.
