The origin of the word "Hamhuisy" comes from Dan Hamhuis. Hamhis is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. Dan has played defense for the Vancouver Canucks since 2010 and has played in the NHL since 2003.

He is a fan favourite and the city of Vancouver has adapted to this word when talking about, not only hockey, but everyday situations.

"Man, that goal was so hamhuisy."

New Hampshire is a socially maladjusted state that lacks diversity but has opportunity for the educated,priviliged and hard working.It takes a lot of work to make it here if you dont have this.If you dont work very hard,have a degree, sell yourself out,come from a successful family or get very lucky you probably will not go anywhere here.If you like to work hard, there is opportunity here.This isnt for wimps who like mooching the system but it does happen mostly in Nashua and Manchester.Thats why these cities have the most problems.Also some of the border towns like salem and hudson are not the best places to live and raise a family due to the constant transitional influx from mass that deteriotates the quality of living and causes crime but it does help the economy, a catch 22.People do tend to drink a lot here though and not always take the best care of themselves,probably due to stress and pressure of working and the cold winters.

Live free and work hard or get out.
The crime and unemployment are low in New Hampshire for a reason, its called WORK.

New Hampshire

New Hampshire is on the Upper-Eastern Coast. It is part of New England and is a very agricultural area. The State Flower is lilac, while the State Wild Flower is pink lady's slippers. A largely known poet, Robert Frost, was born and raised here. New Hampshire is also home of Dartmouth University. The New Hampshire State Bird is the Purple Finch. The state's State Fruit is the pumpkin. The natives of New Hampshire are more adapt to cold weather so you may see them in shorts and tank tops when it is only 50 degrees out. Since New Hampshire natives live in a colder climate the majority of the year, their blood is thicker so tempatures seem warmer to them.

Bill: Missy where are you from?
Missy: I'm from New Hampshire. It's so warm here in Texas.
Bill: WEll it would be. To us Natives though, this is normal.
Missy: In New Hampshire, everyone would be at the beach if it was this hot.
