A whore in Spanish and Portuguese. It doesn’t have other translations.
For some reason, many English speakers confuse it with "bitch"; I don’t know why.

A phrase used in spanish language to express anger or discomfort towards a situation, mainly, towards and adversity.
Contextually, "puta" may mean "fuck" or "whore", and madre means "mother". But instead of the phrase's literal translation ("A mother who is a whore"), its intended meaning in english falls more adequeately in the terms of "Damn it", "Fucking Hell", "SHIT!" , or "FUCK! FUCK! FUCKING FUCK!"

Reprobé el examen. ¡La puta madre!
SHIT! I failed my test.
Dejá de romper las pelotas, la puta madre.
Stop nagging me, for the name of FUCK.
