Tri-trilogy

The watching of three separate trilogies in a marathon-style manner. Usually done on a scheduled date with a group of friends and a large amount of caffeine and snacks. No series can exceed 3 movies (Can't watch all six Star Wars and the Back to the Future films). They must be at a 3/3/3 Ratio.

Pronounced like "Tripple-Trilogy" without the "pple"

The Hobbit Trilogy

The series of movies that followed The Lord of the Rings trilogy and didn't live up to many fan's expectations. But, most agree that Bilbo was very well cast and Smaug was really cool.

`Dude 1: So, what did you think of "The Hobbit Trilogy"?
Dude 2: They were alright. A bit underwhelming, especially the last one. But at least they were better than the Star Wars Prequels

The Draco Trilogy

A fanfiction series written by popular author Cassandra Claire (whose latest novel City of Bones was recently released). The series consists of Draco Dormiens, Draco Sinister, and the final Draco Veritas. Pairings in the series include Harry/Hermione, Draco/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, and Draco/Blaise, among others (along with a hint of Harry/Draco). With all three series' word counts added, the entire Draco Trilogy is about a million words long, and is regarded as one of the best fanfiction series ever written.

Hermione: "You have a whole town named after you?"
Draco: "Yeah, amazing I haven't gotten a big head, isn't it?"
