Hobo Supermodel

A girl who lacks financial means, but still somehow manages to sport all the latest fashions - either by wardrobing, shopping very carefully on ebay/in second-hand stores, by craftily modifying existing items of clothing to match current runway trends, or making her own clothes.

Many struggling designers are actually Hobo Supermodels - cash strapped, they make their own fashion out of whatever they can get their hands on.

Generally looked down upon by it girls, who are mostly too vain and stupid to realise that most of the dresses they pay stupid money for are being designed by people who started out as Hobo Supermodels.

"Check it out! I got these Jimmy Choos on sale for a quid!"

It's because of the superdelegates!

This phrase can be used when in anger and/or disappointment or not achieving or receiving something that you deserved. It can also be used to shift blame onto any other entity for a problem. This is in reference to Bernie Sanders likely being cheated out of the Democratic Primary by Hillary Clinton largely because of illegal action in the Democratic National Committee and super delegates.

Joe: I didn't get a hit in Little League! It's because of the superdelegates.
DeVante: Gas Prices are up a dollar! It's because of the superdelegates!
Morris: I have Gonohreea! It's because of the superdelegates!
Chad Palomino: You can't spell gonorrhea! It's because of the superdelegates!

An aesthetic consolidation of postmodernism into highly-resolved aesthetic lines. Super-linearity; not so much a separate "-ism" as much as post-postmodernism. A celebration of the physical object alongside the processes that created it before the object becomes obsolete forever. Hipsterism. Brooklyn in 2017 : )

Supermodernity is characterized by form-function unity; an inflection point between the form-function duality of postmodernism and the design-attribute duality of hypermodernism.

A hipster in Brooklyn who eats craft jerky on a butcher board in the shadow of super-linear buildings of glass and steel is living an era of supermodernity; an era which celebrates an aesthetic consolidation of the postmodern past.
