Shotaro Complex

A sexual complex similar to that of the Lolita Complex.

The Shotaro Complex describes a sexual attraction to younger boys, usually by adult males. However, females may also have this complex.

It is named for the boy hero of Tetsujin 28-Go (also known as Gigantor), which is also a popular generic name for young male characters in anime.

The Shotaro Complex is often shortened to shotacon.

Those with the Shotaro Complex like boys who are precocious in nature.

shotacon

A pairing, seen mostly as yaoi in fanfiction/art, in which there is a young underaged male engaged in a sexual act. Stands for "Shotaru Complex" in Japanese. See shotaru.

Person A: Did you read that shotacon fanfic with Seifer and Zell? How old WERE they?
Person B: Seifer was... 18 and Zell was like... 12 I think.

loli-shota

Loli-shota is referring to the words lolita (which is the cutesy clothing style in which girls dress in clothes that make them appear like little girls) and shota (which is the term often used in fanfiction to indicate the inclusion of young, pre- and early pubescent boys in sexual acts, usually with much older adult men.) The terms, when used in conjunction, often represent a young boy who is overly effeminate, or "cutesy".

"That character Honey from Ouran Host Club is totally loli-shota."

A person who is attracted (either romantically or sexually) to fictional boys or fictional characters that resemble underage boys

Person 2: Wtf, He's 12! Are you a shotacon or something?

shotacat

(n.) SHO-ta-cat; One of the famed pedopals such as Pedobear. While Pedobear is oft referred to have a fixation with lolita girls and subsequently children in general, Shotacat has a fixation with shota, or in other words, with young boys.
Shotacat is the second-most well-known pedopal to Pedobear.

Shotacat says, "I needs more boys."
