A stop sign on a main arterial road that has no business being there. It's called that because some broken condom of a Soccer Mom chose to take their own life by getting run over by a car. It exists because of society's tendency to place higher values on some homo sapiens than others, without taking merit into account.

Royalty stops are what happens when people make decisions based on emotions.

One who has more access in a downtown scene than the normal or general public who frequent downtown. Down town royalty has frequented down town for sometime, generally meeting the high - archy(other downtown royals)in the early stages of downtown socialization through other then, well established downtown royals.
Downtown Royalty - not limited to one downtown scene, granted access with out cover, not waiting in line, brought to the front of a line, discounts, courtesy drinks, well known, not always well liked, etc.

Clubber 1:
He didn't wait in line and now he is in the VIP room getting a free drink!

Clubber 2: Oh, thats Neil D, he is downtown royalty.
