The "mistreatment" of fat/obese people. Usually this is because of accomodations that don't work for them.

A word referring to the way fat people, especially fat women, are shamed, treated as lesser, or refused medical testing and treatment until they lose weight.

Fatphobia is so real; that disease was killing her but people still told her, "At least you've lost weight!"
