In programming, the C programming language and the C++ programming language are sometimes referred to as C/C++ by beginner programmers who write code in the subset of the C programming language that can be compiled by a C++ compiler (such as Visual Studio). C/C++ programmers with access to quality resources may become C programmers or C++ programmers but a third group never recognizes the differences between the two languages and become a "C with classes" programmer.
