Burts is located on State Street just outside of the downtown area and has managed to destroy every health violation in the book, yet they have dodged the health department every time. Burts is known for cheap live music, shitty overpriced cocktails, bad service, deplorable bathrooms, and a downright 'I don't give a fuck' attitude. It it the quintessential punk rock bar in Salt Lake City, where only the dirty underbelly dare to go on a Friday or Saturday night.
