1.Noun. a burtsov. Originally a russo-slavic name which refers to a left-leaning, neobolshevistic, neomarxistic leaning professional propagandist person who is in a position to use a mainstream media platform or other public access status for own political use.

Usually a journalist, a reporter, a columnist, popular blogger or showhost of some sort.

Hyper emotional and anti-intellectual.
2. Verb. to do a burtsov. To scew facts, presenting a fragment of facts and adding empty content around it, spicing it up with something appealing to like-minded peoples emotions.
To stregthen like-minded peoples bubble view on reality.
Joe: That rat of a journalist really did a burtsov on the news story yesterday, didn't he?

Jenna: Yes. I'm so disappointed on the information feed we are fed these days. Seems there's nothing but burtsovs burtsoving everywhere.
