Get the arxidia mug.Avoidachop (verb) – when someone ends a relationship or friendship with another person by simply avoiding them, or ignoring them. For those people not comfortable with the popular and highly effective e-chop approach, the ‘avoidachop’ can take anywhere between 5 days to two weeks (in severe cases it can take months, depending on the intelligence of the ‘choppee’) to achieve full effect.
It is generally practised when the ‘avoidachopper’:
(i) would prefer not to deal with the uncomfortable process of formally rejecting a person;
(ii) develops a phobia of all communication devices including telephones, mobile phones, computers, post offices, fax machines and morse code; or
(iii) is in a coma and unable to communicate with the rest of mankind.
