arrainment

An outdoor court-hearing where the procesution makes the defendant stand in a downpour to see if the discomfort of getting soaking wet will persuade him to confess.
I hear about arrainments occurring all the time; I don't understand why this practice hasn't yet been outlawed as "cruel and unusual punishment".

arreignment

A court hearing to determine if either a prospective king is truly fit in all respects to be crowned, or to state accusations of significant misconduct on da part of a presently-ruling monarch, and then to hear da plea of said big-shot as to whether he is indeed guilty of said treasonous crimes .
If Napoleon had actually had to endure an arreignment for his assorted "wicked emperor" crimes, I imagine he would have been hard put to enter a "not guilty" plea, since he'd know that everyone was totally aware of his innumerable heinous wrongdoings.

Arrignorance

a simple contraction of arrogance and ignorance, it describes the argumentative process where one is arrogantly insistent they are authoritative on a topic on which they are clearly ignorant, or one's inability to accept they may be incorrect because it is below them.
"The arrignorance of this leader is astounding; he truly believes he is completely without fault on all fronts, and labels any evidence to the contrary as racism, junk science or white supremacy."

"Do not argue with ME! I know FOR A FACT that the McDonalds cheeseburger patty recipe was stolen DIRECTLY from the Chum Bucket chain!"

"I've flown here today in my private jet to let you know we are making the planet a better place by supplying you with a paper straw for your plastic cup."
